You are not Trans you’re just weird

We’re at a time when increasing numbers of young people who are on the odd-side and don’t fit-in with the crowd feel the pull to identify as either Gay or Trans.

This fad led one Mother to publish an informal open letter to her fifteen-year-old son titled: You are not Trans you’re just weird.

Apparently he was a normal toddler at Two years of age before that started to change.

Then his pre-school years hit and she goes onto plot the course of his childhood noting he was something of an oddball even as a kid.

He appeared more introverted than normal preferring to read books than play with other kids; he didn’t react well to instructions, and threw tantrums when he lost any kind of game.

He also hated the feel of blue jeans on his skin if that means anything.

By the Seventh grade school started to require some effort because as it turned out he was rather disorganized which caused frustration at school as well as at home.

Then puberty struck as did his anxiety and he joined the weird-o-crowd, the geeks; they were the theater kids, the math team kids, or the artsy-fartsy kids.

In the past this is the group where the gay kids ended-up; although they’ve they more scattered now.

Some of these kids were really passionate just full of righteous anger about the injustices of the world, while others were dramatic.

His Mother notes these traits seem attractive to her son as he shares some of their confusion and anger about the world.

To quote her; you’re actually more like those vibrant girls who can speak for hours about their ideas. Well, you would be if you could find the words to speak.

He is not good with girls, because he’s not good with chit-chat or eye contact; or girls themselves.

Sex is still gross to him so it’s easier to refer to himself as asexual or pansexual; it’s like a get-out-of-jail-free card that helps him avoid the whole mess.

And his friends tell him he’s super cool and brave for saying that.

He’s a computer nerd as well and the folks on Reddit seem to understand him and his sense of humor.

So when someone posts a meme about Tran’s rights he checks it out. He regards himself as a free thinker; unlike those normies.

He feels uncomfortable about his body, doesn’t like sports and wonders what it would be like to be a girl; because he’s always felt different.

His Mother agrees, he is different; because he’s weird.

She concludes by saying; we’re right here for you.

But those online folks who urge you to “crack your Trans egg” and rush to hormones and surgeries don’t know you at all.

They don’t know that gifted kids, ADHD kids, Autism kids and Asperger’s kids are slower to develop emotionally and sexually.

Basically she says he needs time to develop and ‘find’ himself, also that hormone therapy stunts growth, decreases IQ and can cause him to become sterile.

They also don’t realize you’re just weird as are most of us in one way or another.

One commentator sums it up another way; there’s the endless number of developmentally goofed up kids which nobody mentions; your kid is brain damaged, sorry to say; not a Beautiful Mind, but now the concern is how to protect these same damaged kids from a predatory Tran’s lobby that targets them specifically,

As a foreigner and oft time visitor to America he observes; the US has gone full on zombie flick.
