Will the Abortion Issue Cause a Religious War?

Are there signs that a low grade religious war maybe brewing over the abortion issue?

Before you dismiss the idea it with a ‘Nah’ and an indifferent shrug of the shoulders listen up.

Ever since the leak of the motion to overturn the Roe Vs Wade ruling by conservative Justices in the Supreme Court there have been ominous signs that things they are a ‘changing; and not for the better.

Catholic Churches have been targeted so far but it is early days yet.

The culture wars they are heating up and look no further than social media. The tone, while not great before, has become darker, more militant as online threats are being ramped up.

Christians are being maligned as never before as a group; by all sorts of groups.

It is no exaggeration to say that Christo phobia is in the air and the smell of it is putrid. It is as if the on- the-boil animosity that has been heating up for so long has just boiled over.

Only this time round it is not just atheists who are to blame but other religions as well.

But in any event it is a joint effort like I mentioned.

One political site had the following to report:

One abortion promoting rabbi fumed; “Shame on all who hold the cross” and, “Time to go to war” to thousands of his fellow online vigilantes posting, “F — Christians.

This was coupled by veiled and outright threats of violence.

He is of course not the only one; you should hear the comments of pro-abortion activists, individual women who support abortion, if they are indeed women. And all sorts in like-vein.

Some pro aborts accussed pro-lifers of war crimes for goodness sake, well I don’t know how that works ; but talk about hyperbole.

I suspect it has something to do with trying to stop or limit people’s rights to murder their offspring or something.

In all seriousness though this is fighting talk and the implication of using such a term is horrorendous. .

We must ask if the abortion issue is the hill on which pro-abortionists have chosen to make their stand.

Meanwhile a post on Twitter says the Supreme Court has announced they will issue opinions this coming Monday. This on the Roe vs Wade Ruling I take it.

If this is true the country will not have long to wait!
