Why USAid and Christian Ministries are a No-No.

4 min readMay 3, 2025

Why are the NGO’s so desperate to keep the money flowing in only to have it flow out again? All in the proverbial kettle kept on the boil style. We know this much. It is NOT for material aid.

Now if you had said it is a social justice thing well you guessed right.

Trinity Forum is another one of those platforms that has now taken to push the politics of the left.

Its scholars, to use the word loosely are those in the vein of Russell Moore, David French, Michael Wear and Karen Swallow Prior.

Look who funds them, Ebay founders Democracy Fund, on top of which they get an assortment of grants by Soros and Rockefeller. Say no more!

It is why anyone with any discernment has already left the room at this point.

Meanwhile Trinity Forum has taken to using its voice and many resources to try and justify why USAid just has to be sent to Christian outlets all over the world.

Bear in mind this after DODGE has brought to light the scam that it is.

Here then is their narrative.

In a nutshell they describe it as foreign aid through a Christian lens. Good to know but it tells us the sum of nothing. They warble on; US foreign aid goes back to the post WW2 Marshall Plan and maybe even farther. What? See what they do. They suggest this has always been the norm yet we only notice it now. They seem miffed this type of funding is being highlighted; and questioned even.

Christians have always been involved they say. Not in this way they haven’t. Now they have been co-opted into being pawns for financial incentives. Many of them jump onto this train without a second thought, for others it is a way to pose as evangelical while they clearly are not. For them this train left the station a long time ago.

A giveaway reference is to one of their books with the pointed title; Human Dignity in the Future of Global Institutions.

They then bring out their big guns. In the form of people who have held leadership roles in government, academia and the non-profit sectors. Their names do not matter; they just tools.

See the problem? They do not have an issue with the merger of the secular and the faith and then having it all tie up to big money.

One of them said there were times the Church needed to partner with the Government. Then said it was a beautiful thing and nothing to be afraid of. No you twit; there is plenty to be afraid of. It spells compromise. Which can only mean corruption on every level.

Then they run with the lie this type of spending only makes up one percent of the US budget. It is pointed out that World Relief, with who they involved is the arm of the National Association of Evangelicals. Note that it is all wheels within one big wheel with this lot.

“Under President Bush, there was a more explicit effort and that has been continued through all of the subsequent presidents, a creation of a faith based organization office both in the White House and then in many of the other agencies as well”

Yes we know! It was called the Faith Based Initiative with the idea of faith-based thrown wide open to however one would like to interpret it.

Thus a secular charity could register as being faith-based; no questions asked. This paved the way for faith-based partnerships. Remember them. It tied the religious to the secular and turned it into a pick your sponsor game. On the other hand for funders it was a pick the religion you choose to sponsor type exercise.

Those who fund these set-ups determine the agenda, tone and narrative. No amount of bluster at their own say so will convince otherwise.

Look we know foreign aid is used as a weapon to bring soceities all around the world into the fold of western Universalism. To bring about open soceities. The closed soceities are those that won’t bite so they shown the carrot of aid along with the conditions of the stick. If they still won’t budge there is always regime change or worse down the line.

Consider that this is their version of what consitutes democracy!

Just call off the BS already!
