Why Ideologues won’t call a Thing a Thing.

The urban term call a thing a thing just means calling something by its proper name. All good and well you might say but this is the one thing ideologues are loathe to do for obvious reasons.

The main one is they love to confuse it’s the one thing they excel at. Muddle and befuddle is their motto; and here is but another example.

Now the medical tsars of the left have devised an abortion manual that prohibits the use of certain terms. They off the table you might say.

What was that again about abortions being rare? Well cross that off the list. It is an industry folks and don’t you forget it.

This propaganda guide is brought to you courtesy of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Its aim is to censor common abortion terms; to aid it in the fight with the pro-life movement. So it’s a disinformation jobbie in other words.

Called the ACOG Guide to Language and Abortion it was published early this month. They say; “much of the language that is colloquially used to describe abortion or discuss health policies that impact abortion has a basis in anti-choice rhetoric and is inherently biased and inaccurate”. Yeah right!

It calls for the elimination of words like abortion-on-demand, partial-birth abortion, late-term abortion, self-induced abortion, chemical abortion, surgical abortion, elective abortion and abortion provider.

Medical practitioners are advised not to use words like; womb, baby, unborn child, dismemberment, fetal heartbeat and heartbeat bill.

Okay here is a truism many miss; if one is attempting to hide the truth, one cannot speak and write precisely.

The ACOG guide lashes out at the use of the term “dismemberment,” calling it “inflammatory, emotional language.

So calling a thing a thing is emotional? This is what abortion is about like it or not. Bodies have to be disposed of in some way. They are not invisible.

They prefer the weasel term ‘dilation and evacuation’ to close their eyes to those little details and the reality of abortion.

Don’t get technical please is what they saying.

Who does this?

I think procedures like partial birth abortion make them queasy. They know what it is but don’t want to be reminded.

So let’s say it out loud for clarity’s sake.

The procedure involves delivering the entire baby intact; though just before this a scissors is forced into the base of the skull to evacuate its contents. I call it gruesome. As well as repulsive.

Then there are the ethical concerns. This procedure is performed at the later part of the gestation process; anytime right up before birth in fact.

Those performing the procedure have to ensure the head is not ‘born’ thus the name partial birth abortion. That would make it infanticide in any case.

So this method is designed to circumvent the law and ensure practitioners are not charged with the murder; of an infant.

How much bet this horror was dreamed up by some pro- abortion lawyer?

One doctor, rather sarcastically, hit back over the new language; “I’d like to remind my colleagues that, likewise, we should never again use words like ‘armpit,’ ‘heart attack,’ ‘chest,’ ‘salt,’ and the countless other accurate but nontechnical words we use every day.”

Kind of says it all.
