Where Have All the Freedom Loving Americans Gone?

It was one of those questions that got plenty of people talking.

What happened to freedom loving Americans where did they go? Are they still out there or have they decided to give up the fight and acquiesce.

It is a darn good question. Well, what the hang did happen? It deserves a thoughtful response don’t you think? The replies showed folk were engaged and really thinking it though.

Then there was the person who set it all off. Now a US citizen and author, she fled the Mao Cultural Revolution with her family.

Issues like politics, sociology and even religion were thrown in the mix but the points raised were valid. None of them were off topic. They all blended with the theme to form an eye catching montage. There was no shortage of ideas they just kept coming.

I will share some of them right here and I am sure you will agree there was never a dull moment.

Xi Van Fleet starts off by saying that it’s hardwired in the American DNA to be fierce lovers of freedom and to have no tolerance for tyranny. What has happened she asks. Why are they losing it? The left has found a way to conquer Americans; and it is Woke Marxism.

On American Society

America has always been prone to experiment, though it has not worked out well; with prohibition being just one such example.

The Woke started off as an experiment. Marxism took notice and hijacked the lot and the rest as they say is history. Just like they did with the Feminist movement and others.

It is the fault of the education system along with an ignorance of history.

The desire to not offend is so strong that it will override one’s own survival instinct. Predators know this and use it as a tool against the unsuspecting.

This is the work of societal elites. Refer to names like Yuri Bezmenov, James Lindsay and Vladimir Putin.

Americans fear being cancelled and the consequences that flow from it like loss of jobs’ and social standing.

People want to be seen as good people, even by other not so good people so they virtue signal. How they are seen is everything. These types are the dream of those who are pushing for social credit scores.

Americans care too much about what others think and always have. It is their Achilles heel. Which is why they not a sovereign nation.

Failure to take responsibility for bad choices. It is always someone else’s fault. An ingrained victim mentality that is hard to shake. Freedom goes hand in hand with being responsible. In the book Escape from Freedom author Erich Fromm was amazed that Americans held it together for as long as they did; and this was as far back as the 1940’s.

Democrats took our compassion and empathy; then used it as a weapon against us.

It is a war of words and feelings. Stand up before it’s too late.

The fruit of indoctrination from birth.

We have had so much freedom for so long we have forgotten what it is like to not have it.

It is all about pathological altruism.

Useful idiots are all over the place.

On Religion

The woke left found a crack in modern America’s Christian understanding of what it takes to be ‘a good person.’ It is a crack they have been expanding for years. “You don’t support, fill in the blank, what kind of Christian are you? What we should do is ditch the woke and keep the shame. There you have it, a winning formula.

In three words-he nailed it!

That crack was identified by Ayn Rand as altruism. She was right.

Never let the left define you. They hate Christianity and only use biblical teachings as a cudgel against you. After all they are just doing what Alinsky told them to do in his book Rules for Radicals. There are no ends only means… the revolution is perpetual.
