They Hope For Regime Change in Russia.

With the disinformation and grandstanding over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine all in our faces; it is hard to find a balanced analysis on what is really going on.

I did spot an excellent article by Lee Smith of Tablet which I highly recommend as it fills in the gaps of how we got here. It goes by the title Ukraine’s deadly Gamble.

Ukraine and the new world disorder by Frank Furedi of Spiked is another good piece that places the whole thing in the context of US-Russian grand strategy; with Ukraine just a pawn in the scheme of things.

Last but not least on my list of treats is political expert Alexander Mercouris. He hosts his own program The Duran and also provides daily updates and in depth analysis under his own name on YouTube.

He is geopolitical fundi and his insights are well worth tuning in to. Oh I almost forgot. Scott Ritter is not bad either but he focuses more on the military side of things.

With a growing list of financial and economic sanctions to target Russia, we have to wonder what lies in store just round the corner. Of course it goes without saying it is very bad news for the global economy as well.

Now pundits in some quarters are saying the end game is regime change in Russia; with the plan to oust Vladimir Putin.

Those who support regime change are betting that the severe financial constraints imposed on the country will lead to hardships; and a populist uprising that will put pressure on Putin to resign. And you can bet that you know whom will stoke the flames of the protests for all its worth.

So are we may be looking at a European Spring 2.0? Remember Ukraine was the first.

Is this feasible? Some analysts are sceptical that it could succeed.

For one thing Russia carries no debt, unlike the US, so it would be able to sustain itself albeit with constraints if push comes to shove, although they not convinced that it will.

As for me, I’m not convinced. Call it gut instinct if you will; but you know what they say about that.

It does seem like Putin is being left with no option other than to fight his way out of it and that is not good.

A Ukraine Member of parliament was not shy in admitting to Fox News it’s just not about Ukraine; we fight for the New World Order she said. Then ended off with; “We are the shield for the EURO.”

So is she admitting this is The War of the Bankers?

But is Putin playing along or is he on the outside looking in?

What is clear is all the propaganda has a purpose; it is to turn populations into shills for war. And it is something they will come to regret.

Addendum; The Duran program has switched from YouTube to Rumble due to third parties using the insights provided there to reframe them for own use.
