Then There Be Demons.

If there are more things in heaven and earth than in our imagination just like the bard says; indulge me will you? If you can’t at least keep an open mind.

There are many things we just don’t have an explanation for. Oh we know what we saw ….. But still. How do we manage to wrap our heads around it?

Now here is one example of such an experience.

It happened seven years ago now, not at the witching hour as one might expect, but at four o’clock in the early hours of the morning. Yes I am a night owl what can I say.

Sitting at my PC at four am I heard a noise coming from the bathroom. It sounded like someone dropping bottles of shampoo and lotion as they went about. It was not an unusual sound is the point I am trying to make.

My family has this habit of closing their bedroom door behind them when are they off to bed? They only come again out when they need to use the bathroom.

I turned around, from my vantage point I could see all the bedroom doors were closed. The bathroom door was not though.

I remember thinking that is darn strange. The noise stopped. It went quiet again. I turned my attention back to my PC on my desk in front of me; my back to the passage.

After a few of minutes I could not shake the feeling I was being watched. Have you ever felt this way? It’s eerie especially when you can’t see who is watching you.

I could actually feel eyes on me if this makes any sense.

I turned my head around quickly. Then I saw it. Standing some feet away to my left. I can only describe it as alien and to be clear I am not talking about an ET here. I mean alien as in non-human.

The alien was staring at me intently, so much so it failed to notice that I had seen it.

Until it realized I was now the one doing the staring. It began to retreat, backwards I might add; towards the bathroom.

I saw its head pop out the door as it stepped forward one last time before retreating again. This time for good.

I raced to the bathroom and found it …….gone.

My family was a little bit spooked when I told them all right. We have this habit of closing the bathroom door at night…just in case.

Which begs the question; can and do folks see demons. I am sure that they do.
