The War with Russia is About Democrats Cultural Values.
Dem Congressman Jamie Raskin has let the cat out of the bag to reveal the war against Russia is not just about the invasion of Ukraine; but the protecting of woke values.
You can take this to mean the altercation with Russia is not nearly as black and white as they make out. It is also about the left’s culture wars. So the clash of civilizations plays a big role here.
He said in a statement: Moscow right now is … a world centre of antifeminist, antigay, anti-trans hatred; it also exports stuff like replacement theory around the globe
Without missing a beat or the irony, he said that Putin is an imperialist and a colonizer.
What I mean to say is whither Western Universal Values anyone? What about the goal to push it everywhere? Wait that does not count; capish?
It gets worse he goes on: Moscow right now is a hub of corrupt tyranny, censorship, authoritarian repression, police violence, propaganda, government lies and disinformation, and planning for war crimes
Oh my word! Take that pointing finger and point it inwards okay congressman.
In supporting Ukraine, we are opposing these fascist views, and supporting the urgent principles of democratic pluralism. Ukraine is not perfect, of course, but its society is organized on the radically different principles of democracy and freedom

Nothing about this is new. If you remember back in February; the head of MI6, who includes his preferred pronouns in his Twitter bio, faced backlash for suggesting a large part of the war in Ukraine was about “LGBT+ rights. He was probably told to hush up at the time.
He tweeted: With the tragedy and destruction unfolding so distressingly in Ukraine, we should remember the values and hard won freedoms that distinguish us from Putin, none more than LGBT+ rights
One of the main organizers of Dublin’s gay pride parade also decided to add the colours of Ukraine to the LGBTQ rainbow flag; presumably to ensure support for all ‘current things’ were covered.
The next huge grift to Ukraine will be made after the midterm elections; for obvious reasons.
