The DarkNet Parliament Steps It Out.

To all you high tech security buffs out there this one is for you. There is a brand new word you can now add to your cyber lexicon and it is this; darknet parliament.

Two days ago there was a major cyber-attack against US Federal Agencies and no one had heard of the word before; until the pro-Russian hacker group Killnet used it in one of its threats they had posted to Telegram.

So far it has been claimed that 47 of these agencies were affected in the attacks.

This hacker group as well as the two who assisted them, Anonymous Sudan and REvil; are all part of the darknet parliament.

One cyber security network then posted how ‘Darknet Parliament’ had become a trending term on Twitter; and the rest as they say is history.

The hackers also warned of a pending attack on the Western financial system within 48 hours; and mentioned their intention was to paralyse SWIFT first of all.

Their mantra works like this- no money, no weapons no Kiev regime.

It is worth noting that there have been no problems reported with Swift to date; in fact it seems to be working just fine. Unless they running behind schedule? Though I must say I don’t suspect this is the case.

The same applies to other European targets that were named in the posted threat.
