Teen who knew Uvalde Shooter Speaks out; this is not being covered.
He was not a good person. He would hurt animals.
A student at Uvalde High School in Texas who says he knew Salvador Ramos denies that he was a victim of bullying. Or that this was the catalyst for his mass shooting rampage at Robb Elementary School.
Ivan Arellano, a senior at Uvalde High School, told WFAA-TV in Dallas that Ramos “was not a good person” in fact he was the bully in the tale.
“He would try to pick on people but fail, and this would aggravate him.”
Ramos was shot to death by a Border Patrol agent after his shooting spree left 19 children and two adults dead.
Shortly before the attack the 18-year-old gunman shot and injured his grandmother. Later on she was reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.
Arellano, who was the friend of one of Ramos’s victims, wants to set the record straight because he says no one has mentioned his cruel personality. Most of all in the light of his murderous attack on young school kids.
Arellano’s statement contradicts the initial media line that Ramos was a victim who was subject to gay slurs; and bullied over his lisp.
His take ties up with the observations of 17-year-old Crystal Foutz, who attended school with Ramos; and worked with him at the fast-food restaurant Whataburger.
“He always seemed to take his anger out on the most innocent person in the room,” Foutz told KTBC-TV in Austin.
Our understanding of events changes as the dust settles after a horrific crime like this as more details come out. And we are sure to learn even more down the line.
One thing is already clear. The alarm bells should have been sounded over the shooter’s threatening and anti-social behavior a long time ago; but it was not.
His tendency to self-mutilate, abuse animals and shoot at people with BB guns were not the actions of someone with a sound mind.
He seems to have had pathological traits, if not an actual pathology; just like the killers in Columbine were thought to have had.
You could say that the Uvalde shooter was a walking tragic event in the making.
One commentator had this to say; Ramos ticks too many boxes on Dr Robert Hare’s psychopathy checklist; except for superficial charm and glibness.
Where were all the school councilors? He was clearly disturbed?
