There have been reports of an attack on Europe’s largest power plant in Ukraine.

In response the US has waded in with the dire warning that NATO is ready for conflict with Russia. So is this it? Is this how World War Three starts?

Or are news sites just ramping up their headlines to generate high volume views.

The UK also jumped in and had this to say; the targeting of the plant could “directly threaten the safety of all of Europe.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said; this just demonstrates the recklessness of this war and the importance of ending it.

Blinken then made it clear that NATO is ready to defend its member allies and territory. “Ours is a defensive alliance. We seek no conflict. But if conflict comes to us we are ready for it and we will defend every inch of NATO territory”.

In another report the US embassy in Ukraine calls the attack a war crime.

Meanwhile an independent source asks if this could be a false flag attack to implicate Russia. As well as a catalyst to start World War Three.

I must admit it is an intriguing question. Going by all the BS flying around there is much at stake and such a scenario falls in the realm of possibilities.

Now what have we here? In a Reuters report; Russia blames Ukrainian saboteurs for the attack on the power station.

What’s more, Russia’s defence ministry said today that blaming Russia for the attack is; “a monstrous provocation”.

It was Ukraine who first reported that Russia had attacked the plant in the early hours of the morning.

Reuters says it can’t verify either the Russian or the Ukrainian accounts of the event.

So it is quite the dilemma.
