Joe Biden Amps up the Rhetoric Ahead of the Midterms.

If the US President has a plan to stir things up before the midterm elections his latest speech certainly does the job.

It has been called the most divisive speech of a sitting president to date; and when one considers what a divisive figure he is at the best of times, it kind of says it all.

His speech can be described as a bitter and incoherent rant; straight out of the mouth of a grotesque political spectacle.

I would love to know who writes his speeches, surely not sleepy Joe, either way America is in a whole lot of trouble.

Sure enough January 6 was dusted off, given a polish and paraded around for good effect. So was Donald Trump. This time though J6 came with a brand new twist.

Biden used the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi at his home as proof that ‘democracy’ is under attack.

The assailant entered the home asking, ‘Where’s Nancy? Where’s Nancy?’ Those were the very same words used by the mob when they stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6,” Biden said.

Can’t say I heard that line but if this was the case so what? It does not prove a thing.

He implies here the attack was planned and carried out by a MAGA supporter/s. This in spite of there being no evidence to support it.

Then he launched into another fave topic of his. It was the turn of what he calls the elections deniers. Whom he blamed on Trump. You know because of the J6 protests.

A collective groan must have gone up from ‘election deniers’, along with I told you so looks; as Biden warned the results of the midterm elections won’t be known the next day after polls close; as the count could take a few days.

Like it or not voter fraud is a concern and on the mind of many Americans. A Reuter’s poll shows that 49% of Americans think voter fraud is a widespread problem. Which means that 34% of Democrats and 69% of Republicans hold to this view.

Some 44% say they are concerned the U.S. election is rigged; which breaks down to 28% of Democrats and 62% of Republicans.

This is a sizable vote of no confidence in the integrity of US elections. So there you have it!

Meanwhile WAPO columnist George F Will calls for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to drop out of the 2024 presidential race; for the sake of the country. He has slammed them as not competent to hold down their jobs.
