How Conspirators Weaponize Conspiracy Theories to Gaslight You
The conspiracy theories trope kicked off in the sixties when the left threw their weight in with the Daddy Warbucks class; for political gain yes but most of all to create a world in their own image. They saw this as their only chance to gain one up man’s ship over their enemies. Make no mistake though it worked the other way round too. While the elites had the money to back the agenda they needed political foot soldiers to lay the groundwork and prepare the way. This was an alliance that served both interests. It was at this time the MSM was infiltrated and taken over. Just like JFK warned back then what they were doing. The institutions would follow it out the back door in due course.
How could they afford to have any of this made public knowledge, well they couldn’t. As they were keen to fob off any suggestion of collusion they got the idea to gas light accusers when they did. Pay no heed to anything they say they crazy tunes was the line. Their supporters took it and ran with it. So it is now. We stuck in this farce where conspirators go all out to gaslight the conspiracy theorists. What an ass-about-face world we live in. Its message is don’t believing your lying eyes folks. Keep ’em closed and it’s all good. The premise is whatever them folk over there tell you is wrong but what we tell you is right.
That so much of what was said and is still being said is true washes over the heads of the detractors. They could not care less anyway they down with whatever it is their enemies are not down with. They go along with whatever the lie of the moment is. They choose it. They can’t afford to look in the mirror and have it say I know what they are but what are you?
MSM jumped in on the topic recently and what a bag of laughs that was. They must be feeling a little threatened by everything that is going on all around them. An article by Associated Press on two real-life conspiracy theorists, they gave them real names anyway, contained all the stale stereotypes they could dream up and fit onto one page. Nice thumb suck you guys. Or did you rather pull it out of your left earhole. Whatever it was this was not a read worthy of any intelligent person’s time.
It was written to appeal to the low information crowd or dupes, which in this case was their readers.
I won’t bore you with the details but they waxed lyrical about how conspiracy theorists spend too much time dwelling on theories. I don’t believe it, for one thing they don’t have to they better read than most. Now compare it with the time a person who watches mainstream TV non- stop and reads every rat rag on the left there is to read. Now that’s a lot but it is hardly taxing stuff. They say the same things only the way they say it is different; so essentially it’s the same message over and over. No wonder they like robots. Way to broaden those horizons hey?
The trick to remember is the aim is to ridicule. They take the worst argument in support of it, like with the strawman though it’s a little different. They want people to connect the words conspiracy theory with absurd in their heads. So mind association it is. This way whenever they read the words conspiracy theory, and whatever the merits of the argument, they dismiss it out of hand. There is no good reason to even look at it or consider it. Yes it is brainwashing but it seems to work. It is Pavlov’s dog but for humans this time.
