Did the FBI Act on a NYT Article?
While there has been a lot of speculation about what prompted the FBI to raid Trump’s residence this one has been called the raison d’être.
It seems the blames falls squarely on a New York Times article by Maggie Haberman, a piece I might add that is chock-full of hearsay and innuendo.
Collusion between branches of government and news outlets seemed to be the new normal ever since Trump took office. And you would know this had you paid attention at the time. Remember it was his own DOJ staff that spied on the White House, only to later write anonymous hit pieces about him for outfits like The New York Times. So why should it be any different in the FBI?
It reminds me of what was said by one Barrack Obama. It is not necessary for people to believe disinformation. You have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage.
What he is saying is bring on the dirt; the smear campaign, the demonization and the hatchet job. Well come to think of it he was a good student of Saul Alinsky.
And just like that you get Trump Derangement Syndrome! So job done!
Like so many of her kind Maggie Haberman fancies herself something of a mind-reader who know what it is that Trump is thinking. For example she knows without a doubt that Trump is planning his next moves in fear of investigations.
In a recent CNN interview she says that Trump wants to run in the 2024 presidential elections as he thinks this will help him ward off potential indictments. Not sure how she imagines this will work though.
She says; …….you know he tries to project confidence. To decode, how dare he!
You know, he has openly talked more worriedly about the Georgia investigation into his actions in that state,” she claimed.
Before adding; however, Donald Trump fears investigations, generally speaking, and the fact that the DOJ is now calling in witnesses from the White House only ups the level of concern.
CNN did not bother to question Haberman on the specifics that support her notion of ‘worried talk’ from Trump. They never do; do they! Note that neither does she provide a source that might corroborate her claim.
When asked what is her sense about Trump’s recent political victories and what she thinks he gains from his endorsements and speeches, she fired back with this; the honest answer is what he gains from it is attention and people talking about him as we are and as other people are, and that’s how he looks at this.
Sorry I don’t get what she is trying to say.
Then there is this gem; the second that he says that he is not running, you know, the crown in the Republican Party goes to somebody else.
And I think it is as simple as that,” Haberman said of the president’s desire to run again.
Please don’t state the obvious will you.
