Canadians head to the polls today so here’s a lineup of the political contenders:

First up there’s Justin Trudeau’s ruling liberal Party. What to say?

Then there’s the Conservative Party led by Erin O’Tool. Not much better.

The New Democratic Party (NDP) is the third contender; it appeals to young hipsters and the woke far left, the party is led by Jaghmeet Singh.

The NDP have played the Liberal paramour in the latest dissolved government and haven’t seen a state power grab they haven’t liked.

Then there’s the relatively new People’s Party of Canada with its traditional views on freedom and individual rights; struggling to establish itself.

What’s interesting is the People’s Party was blocked from appearing in the national debates and is largely ignored by the established media.

Trailing behind these parties are the Bloc Quebecois, a party dedicated to the breakup of Canada; one that mainly appeals to Quebec nationalists.

The Green Party is last on the list, it has been struggling with infighting over outbreaks of anti-Semitism, and in any case liberal parties have stolen its platform to absorb the green vote, so it’s chances aren’t good.

And that’s it; Canadians are not spoiled for choice it seems.
