Hurricanes of Fire.
Things look grim right now in the early hours of this Wednesday morning 01/08; with what we see taking shape in the State of California USA. To be blunt this is as bad as it gets. To give you some idea these wildfires are already being called the worst in the history of the State; though it is clear it is not yet over. From what I can gather the end is nowhere near in sight. At this stage anyway the fierceness of the blazes has blocked our view of how it will pan out and when it will end in the same way that the fires have blotted out the sun.
We read that resources are stretched to the max. There has been a public announcement asking fire fighters on leave to call in; and to report for duty. It appears they do not have nearly enough staff for starters.
Already there have been reports of looting at prime properties in places like Malibu.
Fire-fighting planes have had to be grounded due to high winds and the dangers that they pose. What this means and is down to is hurricanes of fire. Think of flying embers all over the place and you get the picture.
There are calls to evacuate in some places and the signs are the list will grow.
Passenger planes have had to be diverted in some areas. This is how bad this all is.
There are reportedly four fires raging as of now with the latest said to be in LA North which is Hollywood terrority.
Then there the rumors these fires were deliberately set with it timed just so, for the winds to fan the flames. All I will say if chaos was what they planned for; well they have it.
Could this be a freak of nature with winds from 80 to 100 miles per hour being predicted? In LA of all places mind you. This seems to be unprecedented. Nothing on this scale has ever been seen before. Landmark buildings have been lost in a short space of time; as have places of disrepute. The City of Malibu has just urged all residents who not under evacuation order to prepare to leave. They can’t contain the fires they say.
There have been stories of people trapped by the fires with no way out in places like Duke’s in Malibu. There may be plenty of burn injuries we told.
While terrified passengers aboard a flight out of LA watched the fires below; they flew straight into a smoke cloud.
Meanwhile a state of emergency has been declared by the governor of California. As wildfires sweep through the exclusive suburbs of LA; and onto a hillside dotted with celebrity homes.
Water shortages will be next on the list; and you can take that to the bank.
