Gunman Shoots at Trump at Rally.

There has been an assassination attempt on the life of Donald John Trump; this at his rally in Butler Pennsylvania, just yesterday.

Here is what we know so far.

A spectator in the stands has been killed with another two in a critical condition, and the gunman was shot dead just AFTER he had fired the shot.

The shooter was positioned elavated with a rifle and ‘scope on one of a number of unsecured roof tops.

We told that a few people in the crowd had spotted the would-be shooter climbing up a ladder and onto a roof top and tried to warn police but to no avail.

Trump was grazed by the bullet and could be seen bleeding from a side of his face but otherwise appeared to be all right.

With a half-way bleeding face Trump turned to the crowd to encourage them with a fist pump then addressed them telling them to fight on before being led away by secret agents. Now that is guts and balls for you.

The shooter has been identified as 20 year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks; and a white man as per the video footage.

He hailed from Bethel Park 40 miles south from where the Trump rally took place.

An AR-15 has been recovered at the site of the shooting.

No doubt many more details will emerge over the coming days.

What this incident says about the state of the nation though is concerning; indeed if its perilous state has ever been in doubt.

It is both very clear and very alarming at the same time.
